I jumped and bought these as soon as I hear about them. They simply do not last. With the small amount of space btwn shelves, the felt pads completely fall off with just the smallest amount of pressure. I am writing this review on 6/27/23 - there are mixed reviews here about both products - which tells me that either the company has fake reviews here (which I think is very unlikely) or there is a massive quality variation - some people receive pads that last and some don't. I apparrently did not receive quality. I will say that their paint racks are definitly the best - I'm stilll a huge fan of this company, just not these items.
So sorry to hear of your experience with the PDRKD.Felts Trevor. In truth, we did see this happening with some of the early production but thought we'd solved this problem. Apparently this is still an issue.
We'll take another look at this and either solve the adhesive problem or pull these from our offering.
Happy to refund your purchase if these are of no use to you. Please reach out to us.
Works great for painting cabinet doors and drawers.
Bought the felt pad ones. They work fine but I thought with the price being paid, they would be a little cleaner when they showed up. Many had no felt on them and others had the felt not placed very well onto the place that is intended for it. I removed them and stuck them back to the place where there is a flat spot to put them where it is intended but not sure how they will hold up as I'm sure the adhesive is not meant to be pulled up and put back down.
Sorry about the trouble with the felts Jackson. Not sure what happened here, but they should have certainly been clean and stayed attached. Happy to send you replacements or provide a full refund. Just let's us know what works best for you.
We have two of the professional drying racks and have the spikes on one and the felt pads on the other. We like both because it allows tree point contact on materials instead of the entire shelf. The complete system has been a game changer for us in our pro cabinet shop.
Even with catalyzed 2k the spike ones leave little pinholes in the finish. I will have to toss the spike ones because of the damage they are causing and I'm going to try the felt ones but not holding out much hope. They also like to spin around on the racks and fall off.
Oh no! Sorry you're having trouble with these. If the spike are too sharp you might consider touching them with a file to dull the point.
But hope you have better results with the felts. I'll have CS locate your first order and refund the charge for the spikes. Good luck.
